Creative and Professional Video Content
Proficiencies:
Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Camtasia, Vyond
As an instructional designer and a learner, I love video content! I create gifs, demo videos, instructional walkthroughs, and other creative video content recreationally and professionally.
I've created and published over 600 videos on YouTube and consider it a personal passion. I cherish their versatility, how they absorb creativity, and the process of creating them.
Here are examples of my creative and professional videos!
Cosmic Shore Investor Pitch Speedrun video
For an investor pitch series, we competed with 740 other startups to win 1 of 20 spots in a rapid-fire investment pitch series. I had under 5 days of personal time to collect footage, connect music, create time-lapse footage, and cram lots of messages into a 1 minute high level voiceover video to share with investors. 3 investors are awaiting our Alpha release now.
Video Walkthrough of Dry Wire Queue Review Process
This is a video + voiceover version of a Computer-Based Training I made for the 120-person Wire team at United Wholesale Mortgage.
Workflow Help Videos
This is one of 50+ examples of my in-product workflow help videos that I made at Altair Engineering.
Big K.R.I.T.'s "Porchlight" Music Video
In this video, I take Big K.R.I.T.'s "Porchlight" and make a music video with Detroit-based 1950's stock footage. The project required a minimum of 10 unique footage sets, exclusively archival footage, sound balancing, and overlaid video images.
EMU Theater Promo
For this video, my professor provided hours of footage and dozens of images for a 2016 EMU Theater performance of a local playwright's take on the Scrooge story. We had to work within these parameters:
1. Have at least 3 images
2. 3:30 - 4:00 minute runtime
3. Use background music for at least 1 minute
Upon reviewing my video, the professor told me "This is the best take on this project I have ever seen."
